Perform this money ritual on the first of the month to invite a month full of abundance. You’ll need two things: ground cinnamon (or any type of cinnamon) and some beautiful salt, such as pink Himalayan salt.

1. Go to the door you use most frequently in your household.
2. Stand inside facing your house with the door open.
3. Place the cinnamon in your left hand, set the intention of calling abundance into your life, and blow the cinnamon into your house.

It’s 2 AM.

I wake up shivering. Shaking. Freezing.
The fever is the highest it’s been.

My body hurts. I’m wide awake. And it all comes crashing down.

Yesterday my partner and I ended our relationship.
Not from anger.
But from the truth that we both have to honor ourselves.

And it broke me.

It triggered my deepest wound —
that when I ask for what I need
I am too much.
My energy is too much.
My emotions are too much.

So I’m sitting there at 2 AM, crying, shaking, in pain.
Replaying everything from this past week.

Support shifting.
Financial pressure.
Vacation ending too soon.
All of us getting sick.
The rug ripped out from under me.

And on the day I’m the sickest…
the relationship ends.

I’m sobbing. Feverish.
And then I hear it.

This is how we burn it away.

The old version of you has to die.

Every place where you abandoned yourself.
Every place where you settled.
Every person, place, or thing that made you feel small.

We can’t carry that forward.

I know it hurts, my child.
I know you’re scared.
But we’ve done this before.

We’ve ripped it all away and started over.
And every time it’s been better than the last.

What is truly yours cannot be taken.

It doesn’t make it easier.
A week ago my life looked completely different.

But I know this:
Something magical is on the other side of this.

To step into a new identity, we have to be willing to die first.
We have to enter the void.

I will always stand up for what I need.
Because I am not too much.

I will always stand up for my children.
They are my everything.

And even though at 2 AM, shaking and trying to burn off a fever,
it feels like I’m dying…

In a way, I am.

And that’s how we rise.

It’s 2 AM.

This morning the universe made sure I practiced what I preach.

I’ve had more expansion in the past couple months than I’ve had in years. Fast. Big. Stretchy.

And this morning I fell into deep mourning.

I wrote letters.
To friends.
To people who hurt me.
To current people.

Some were sent.
Some weren’t.

All of them were part of letting go.

We’re stepping into a new year. And to enter fully, you have to shed what’s still clinging to the old one.

So I cried.
I held myself.
I mourned past versions of me.
My marriage. My ex. Old partners. Old friends. Even parts of my current relationship.

I noticed myself wanting to escape.
Meditate it away.
Kundalini it away.
Transcend it away.

But what I actually needed was nervous system safety.

This is my medicine.
This is what I teach.
Expansion without collapse.

Even with a to-do list a mile long.
Even in the middle of real life.

I stayed.
I felt it.
I let it move through me.

This is the raw edge of expansion.
Ego death.
Becoming.
